Ropeflow

Privacy policy

Ropeflow is designed so that jump-rope training stays under your control.

Camera and movement analysis

Camera analysis, pose estimation and jump counting run on the iPhone. Ropeflow does not record or retain camera frames, video, pose landmarks or skeleton timelines. It stores only derived training values such as jump events, cadence samples and coalesced form observations.

Training data and iCloud

Profiles, completed sessions, programmes, assignments and coaching reports are stored on-device and may sync through your private Apple CloudKit database when iCloud is available. Ropeflow does not operate a first-party user-account or fitness-data backend.

You can export complete versioned backups and CSV history, preview imports, correct or delete sessions, and retain raw history without a Pro subscription.

Apple Health

Health access is optional and write-only. Ropeflow does not read Health data. Completed local sessions may be saved after you grant permission. If a write has an ambiguous outcome, or a saved session is edited, Ropeflow requires manual review instead of risking a duplicate automatic write.

Purchases and subscriptions

Apple processes Ropeflow Pro purchases. Ropeflow uses RevenueCat to record and reconcile subscription transactions and restored purchases, and to provide subscription analytics. RevenueCat receives a random anonymous customer identifier, Apple's identifier for the app vendor, device model, operating-system version, app and build version, preferred languages, App Store storefront, and Apple purchase and subscription history. This technical context and purchase history are not linked to your identity.

RevenueCat does not receive names, email addresses, camera or Health data, workout measurements, form results, notes, profiles, or AI prompts and generated content. Apple's StoreKit entitlement remains authoritative inside Ropeflow, so a RevenueCat service failure cannot block an Apple-completed purchase or remove Pro access verified by StoreKit. RevenueCat data is not used for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

Product analytics

Ropeflow does not currently include a product-analytics SDK and does not collect feature-usage analytics. Purchase, trial, conversion, revenue and churn reporting comes from App Store Connect and RevenueCat under the purchases disclosure above.

Diagnostics

Apple may provide crash, hang and performance diagnostics through MetricKit. Ropeflow stores these payloads locally for a limited period and only shares them when you explicitly export them. Raw diagnostics are not uploaded automatically.

Notifications

Programme reminders are optional local notifications. Ropeflow requests notification permission only after you enable reminders.
